Delay in Responses
Due to higher than normal volumes of phone calls and emails, potential delays may occur. We know this can be frustrating. We apologize for this inconvenience and are in the process of hiring and training additional staff, as well as working overtime to meet your needs. We are extremely grateful for your patience.
Please note that the majority of questions are answered on our website or in the MSU student portal.
For phone calls: Our current wait time, on average, is 15 minutes. We limit the number of calls that are placed on hold to respect your time.
For emails: It is taking us about 3 days, depending on the complexity of your question, to respond. For more complex issues, it may take a week for us to respond.
While you may experience a delay or long hold time, we are still happy to help you however we can. We have gathered our TOP 12 reasons people contact us into a single list with resource links, along with additional FAQs.

Applications for emergency grants from the federal CARES Act funds have far exceeded available dollars and the funds are now exhausted.
