financial aid news

Students may receive a Loan Disclosure Statement in the mail. These statements are generated any time a student is offered a Direct Student Loan (Subsidized or Unsubsidized). The loan will not be finalized unless they complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling. If they receive the Loan Disclosure Statement, but do not plan to borrow the loan offered to them we recommend declining the loan in StuInfo in Financial Aid (Check Your Aid), otherwise they may continue to receive statements and email reminders from our office that there is action that needs to be taken on the loan.

fall bills

A step that is required each semester, especially if financial aid covers the bill, is to click "Confirm Attendance" in StuInfo. This will change the student's enrollment status from enrolled to registered. If this step is skipped they may lose their classes and then receive a $50 late registration fee when they re-enroll. For more information watch our video on "The Bill".
