spring bills

MSU Student Accounts will begin creating spring bills on November 15th. They can be viewed in StuInfo under "Billing Statements". Here are a few reminders about financial aid and tuition bills.

  • Don't forget to click "Confirm Attendance" each semester in StuInfo.
  • Federal financial aid such as Direct Student Loans, Pell Grant, SEOG, Parent PLUS Loans are not sent to MSU until 10 days prior to the beginning of each semester and will appear as anticipated financial aid.
  • Students that have a credit on their account will receive their refund the week of January 4th.
  • Be sure to pay close attention to the "Action Items" box on the bill.

If you are planning to graduate Fall 2014 and you have borrowed federal loans be sure to learn about your loan repayment options by completing "Exit Counseling". You can access "Exit Counseling" 24 hours a day/7 days a week at You will learn about the many different repayment plans that are offered, what to do if you have a financial emergency, and much more. It could save you thousands of dollars in interest by learning about and comparing which payment plan works best for you.

Also at, you can use their repayment calculator. By entering your name, date of birth, and other information the calculator can access your federal loan totals and fill the calculator fields in for you with your specific loan totals. You can also use the calculator without entering personal information in if you are uncomfortable doing so. Remember that you can always access your federal student loan information via the National Student Loan Data System at
